Silas Lowe is an Austin, Texas-based Americana and roots singer-songwriter whose music blends traditional American forms with a contemporary lyrical voice. Grounded in folk, bluegrass, blues, and honky-tonk traditions, his songs reflect a deep commitment to storytelling and craft.

Active in the Austin music community since the mid-2000s, Lowe has performed widely across the U.S. and Canada as both a solo artist and collaborator. His songwriting has been embraced by fellow musicians, including co-writes with Brennen Leigh, Cristina Vane, and Guy Forsyth, and covers by bands across the country.

Lowe's 2016 album Wandering Father, Forgotten Son paired his own compositions with songs by his late father, honoring their shared musical legacy. He followed with Mirror Behind the Bar in 2025, a record that explores reflection, hard-earned wisdom, and everyday truths through classic American songwriting forms.

He also performs as one half of Lost Patterns, an American roots duo with fiddler Beth Chrisman.
